Research
Conduct periodic research on ageing through multi-disciplinary teams to understand the changing nature and landscape of ageing with a disaggregated and nuanced approach (e.g., urban-rural; men-women; rich-poor; employed-unemployed; family based care-institutional). This would lead to bringing policy and advocacy perspectives on board to work towards an improved ecosystem for elderly persons.

Advocacy
Services, entitlements and rights do get violated every now and then. Research brings out the gaps and active engagement with the target groups informs what action is needed and warranted. This is regularly reviewed to tweak strategy of intervention.

Guidance and Counselling
Needs like health, finance, legal help, mental issues, intra-family challenges, etc., necessitate engagement and provision of timely guidance. Counselling of aggrieved persons is another high priority requirement.

Collective
Elderly persons need to support each other because they understand what the other person – known and unknown – is going through. Hence, elders for other elders must come forward through a collective which will give them direction, strength and purpose.

Experience
Providing a nice experience to the elderly will make their hard life easier. Hence, all types of assistance will be provided to help them visit places, meet each other in groups and share their feelings, etc.
Health and Well-being
Assist in getting health care needs addressed through care providers. This could include hospital and home based care.
